Furlong Flooring’s Regency brand secures wall-to-wall ISO accreditations
Testament to its high-quality products and service, Furlong Flooring is proud to announce that a member of its group, “Regency Carpet Manufacturing Limited” has been awarded with the latest three accreditations from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
The Furlong group has grown rapidly over the years, “Regency Carpets”, Furlong’s award-winning, UK-based carpet manufacturing facility has worked remarkably hard to meet exceptional standards of quality, environmental management, and health and safety.
Stephen Large, Managing Director of Regency, explained: “The accreditations are a testament to the behaviours and performance of the company within the Furlong Group over many years; its reputation for quality, service, and reliability has grown consistently. However, within the past 12 months, new dynamic leadership at every level of the Furlong Group and Regency Carpet Manufacturing has created the culture and conditions to propel us forward at the speed required to achieve our goals”.
The Furlong group is delighted by the ISO’s recognition of its efforts and takes immense pride in sharing these certifications:
· ISO 9001 for its Quality Management System: This demonstrates the company has effective processes and people in place to consistently deliver high-quality products time after time. As a UK-based carpet manufacturer, the company has worked hard to secure this important industry standard, which is commonly required across all manufacturing companies.
· ISO 14001 for its Environmental Management System: This measures the impact that an organisation has on its environment. This is particularly significant for a business that sets standards for both current operations and future improvement, ensuring that all its product developments and manufacturing processes have environmental considerations at heart.
· ISO 45001 for its Occupational Health and Safety: This is critical across the business, ensuring that employees and site visitors are safe, and their wellbeing is always managed.
Deborah Owen, Furlong Group Head of Marketing claimed: “We are delighted to see Regency being awarded all three of these important industry standards. They demonstrate our determination to not only design and manufacture the best products but to do it in an environmentally friendly way whilst putting our people at the centre of everything we do.” Stephen Large, Managing Director of Regency further added, “The ISO Accreditations form an integral part of Regency’s 2030 Vision. Realised, this vision will see Regency become a company within an organisation that has a benign impact upon our environment, whilst striving to support the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.”
